The Company aims to bring together the most competent singers and performers in the area to deliver musical theatre shows of uncompromising quality and professionalism. Through our weekly rehearsals, we will initially work towards producing two main shows a year at one of the following venues;

The Dolman Theatre, Newport

The Congress Theatre, Cwmbran

Our two fundamental aims are:

  • To promote and nurture the performative talents of the individual in all aspects of stage/theatre work.
  • To develop the vocal skills and disciplines of each individual with a view to providing not only a high quality group dynamic but also strong solo performers.

THE COMPANY has been set up to work with only the best of the best . This means that we will run as a professional company and expect a lot from each of our cast members. If you pass your entrants audition we obviously believe that you have the traits that we are looking for in a performer which are:

Professionalism - This relates to everything that you do (no pressure), from arriving on time at rehearsals with your music to knocking the socks off the audience during a performance.

Enthusiasm - If you re excited about THE COMPANY, we'll get on well.

Talent - We will never pass someone at audition just to make up numbers. We would rather work with four outstanding performers than forty mediocre ones.You have a talent and we want you to use it, not only during performances but in rehearsals too.

Commitment - If you re looking for a hobby, we re not for you. If you re looking for a sing song , we re not for you. We are only interested in individuals who have a genuine passion to perform and are committed to achieving this goal.
