Our Patrons!

Jeremy Sheffield

•Actor and Dancer•
"I would like to wish Susannah and the entire cast of The Company all the very best with their venture. Performance is something that everyone can enjoy. Whether you are on the stage or the big screen performing or sat in the audience or on the sofa.
It is great that The Company are encouraging more people to get up and share their talent with others .

Jeremy is probably best known to many for his role as hunky heart surgeon Dr. Alex Adams in the BBC One hospital drama 'Holby City', but Jeremy has many credits to his name, from dancing with the Royal Ballet, to being the love interest in Nathalie Imbruglia's music video 'Torn'. His work includes movies such as 'Creep', 'Merlin' and 'The Wedding Date' and TV drama such as 'Murder in Suburbia', 'Hearts of Gold', 'Bombshell' and 'Safari School'.

Bernard Latham

•Actor, Director and Writer•
"I was extrememly pleased when The Company approached me to become one of their Patrons. Having met Susannah and Andre and seeing the shows they produce, I have witnessed first hand the commitment and dedication they show in giving a new meaning to 'amateur' groups.

There is some wonderful talent on offer in South Wales and The Company seem intent on not only showing off that talent but also promoting and encouraging would be performers to improve on what they already have.

I wish them every sucess in their venture."

Bernard originally trained at The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School after winning the Peter O’Toole scholarship. He has been a director, actor and writer for over 30 years. For the past nine years Bernard has been employed by Mersey Television's soap 'Hollyoaks' playing the much loved character Mr C.
Bernard’s special interest is working with participants from a disadvantaged background in particular with those who are blind or visually impaired.

Jamie Baulch

•Former Athlete•

"I am very excited about being a patron for The Company. Having been the best in my field it is an honour to be part of what I consider to be a top class company.

They have a wonderfully talented group of people and the shows they have produced so far have been outstanding. They could give professional performers a run for their money which is exactly what amateur theatre needs.

I wish them all the very best look forward to seeing them go on to bigger and better things."
Best known for his achievments on the running track has kindly agreed to become The Company Patron.
His athletics career gave him many opportunities to perform away from the track and although he has always loved theatre, he admits that after hosting his own television show, 'Energise', singing on the celebrity karaoke show 'Night Fever' and being part of the Red Dragon Radio charity Pantomime, maybe it is time for him to try the stage.

Hmmm, we'll see...watch this space!!!

The Company would like to thank Jeremy, Bernard and Jamie for their support and wish them both all the very best for their future ventures.
